Ford Executive Vice-President delivers exclusive Toronto lecture
Dr Lewis Booth (BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering 1970, Hon LL.D 2010), Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Ford Motor Company, delivered an exclusive lecture to alumni at the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada about leadership in business.
Dr Booth, who is a Director of University of Liverpool in America Inc., offered a fascinating insight into his career as a leading international businessman at the sold-out event.
The lecture, which was part of the University's developing Alumni Relations programme in Canada, was followed by dinner in the 360 Restaurant at the top of the tower.
The event was hosted by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Howard Newby.
The University now has Alumni Ambassadors for Vancouver, Alberta, Toronto and the Atlantic Provinces.
