Lewis Booth to give exclusive alumni lecture in Toronto

CN Tower, TorontoAlumni are invited to an exclusive lecture and dinner at the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada, with guest speaker Lewis Booth.

On Saturday 18 September 2010 from 5pm, Lewis Booth, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ford Motor Company and Director of University of Liverpool in America Inc, will give a thought-provoking lecture from one of Canada's most iconic landmarks about his career as a leading international businessman.

He will offer advice and guidance based on his experiences and discuss the challenges posed in the current financial climate.

Following the lecture, alumni are invited to join Lewis and the Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Howard Newby and Lady Newby in the award-winning ‘360 The Restaurant’ at the top of the CN Tower for a three-course dinner against the breathtaking backdrop of Toronto from more than 1,000ft.

During his introductory address the Vice-Chancellor will also provide an update about the latest developments at the University, and particularly its aspirations to become a truly global university.
