University of Liverpool in America Inc. launched
Alumni across the US came together to celebrate the launch of University of Liverpool in America Inc., the University's new, not-for-profit Foundation.
As part of the celebration, alumni based on the East coast enjoyed a wine and canapés reception at the New York Athletic Club, which was hosted by Alumni Ambassador Anne Donnelly Bush (BA Hons Psychology 1990) and included the broadcast of a short film produced to mark the occasion.
Those based in other parts of the United States also took part by logging onto the Foundation's website to watch the film online.
As well as helping more than 1,000 alumni to maintain a close connection with the institution, University of Liverpool in America Inc. will also enable alumni, supporters and advocates to make tax-deductible donations to benefit the institution and its students.

Students from the US joined the Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Howard Newby and staff of the University to produce a short film marking the launch of University of Liverpool in America Inc.
