Alumni Ambassador programme grows
A third Alumni Ambassador has been appointed in the US as part of the University’s growing portfolio of alumni relations activity.
Dr Simon Waddington (BSc Physics 1985, PhD 1988), who was previously an Alumni Ambassador for Germany, has joined Dr Brian Jones as an Alumni Ambassador
in California.
Simon has taken responsibility for galvanising activity in northern California in conjunction with Brian’s ongoing work in the southern part of the
state.

On the east coast, meanwhile, the University will shortly be appointing a new Alumni Ambassador to take over from Anne Donnelly Bush, who is stepping
down after two years of developing activity in New York.
The University would like to thank Anne for her dedicated efforts as an Ambassador.
