Mexican-themed party with mariachis for California alumni

Alumni Ambassador Dr Brian Jones (BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering 1961, PhD 1965)Graduates in California are invited to a Mexican-themed party hosted by Alumni Ambassador Dr Brian Jones (BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering 1961, PhD 1965) and his wife Debbie at their San Gabriel home.

From 5pm on Saturday 11 June, alumni and their guests will be able to enjoy an evening with a Mexican flavour.  Food and drink will be served and entertainment will include mariachis.  Children are welcome.

Attendance is free but places are limited so please book in advance by contacting Brian via email: ambassador.wusa@liv.ac.uk.

Brian is also planning an exclusive alumni visit and tour of the Huntington Estate, Library and Gardens in September, complete with brunch and high tea.  The day will conclude with dinner at the Altadena Town and Country Club.  More details will be announced shortly.
Meanwhile, Alumni Ambassador for northern California, Dr Simon Waddington (BSc (Hons) and PhD Physics 1985 and 1988) is hoping to hold an event for alumni in the San Francisco area this summer.
